Men Online Dating Terms Defined

There are so many men out there with online dating profiles that go unanswered. Why? Well, it's likely because they're putting in certain terms that seem to mean something negative to any woman who stumbles upon their online dating profile.

It goes without saying that just about everyone lies in their online dating profile to some extent, but certain things aren't lies - they're simply interpreted in a negative way.

Here are some gems that men tend to use in their online dating profile and women tend to interpret the wrong (OR MAYBE RIGHT) way:

LAID BACK - This usually means a man is either fat, lazy or likes to flirt with all and any woman who breathes within viewing distance.

OPEN-MINDED - Men who like kinky sex and use "OPEN-MINDED" as their introduction to it.

SENSITIVE - A man who is probably going to argue with his girlfriend every time he feels she's hurting his feelings. Not good.

LOOKING TO JUST HANG OUT - Wants only to get laid.

LOOKING TO GET MARRIED - Man who either needs a visa or is desperate for the company of any woman.

ATHLETIC - No fat chicks need apply.

LOOKING FOR AN INDEPENDENT WOMAN - A man who wants a woman who is employed well enough to support herself.
