Whether they are ready or not, our students of today will be our leaders of tomorrow. In this webinar, featuring the Korean War as a backdrop, presenter Dana Maddock, Curriculum Trainer - MOH Character Development Program, explored the character value of leadership. Dana examined how the story of Medal of Honor Recipient Reginald Myers can lend itself to a variety of lessons teaching students what it means to be a leader, how to develop their own leadership skills, and how to relate those skills to others through their own written and oral narratives. Attendees explored free classroom resources of the MOH Character Development Program, examined practical lesson ideas appropriate for a variety of grade levels, and experienced renewed inspiration for role modeling leadership in their own academic settings.
